NEEDS ASSESSMENT / LECTURE DESCRIPTION

         With acupuncture and fertility in the media spotlight, more and more fertility patients are seeking acupuncture treatment as an adjunct to ART.

     This practical presentation will look at how "integrated care," a collaborative approach between acupuncturists and REI’s can benefit your practice and your patients by: building patient trust, increasing satisfaction with fertility treatment, and improving success rates.

    We will discuss best practices for integrated care, tried and true treatment protocols, and guidelines for finding a qualified Reproductive Acupuncturist.  

Objectives:

• Introduce physicians to the concept of a collaborative approach between acupuncturists and REI’s.
• Show physicians how they can help their patients building patient trust, increasing satisfaction with fertility treatment, and improving success rates.
• Discuss best practices for integrated care.
