NEEDS ASSESSMENT / LECTURE DESCRIPTION

     This talk will give a brief overview of the herbal training and board certification of Chinese medicine practitioners, quality control and safety of herbs administered, as well as the theory behind the herbs prescribed for infertility. This talk includes international research conducted using Chinese herbs with IVF/ART.

Objectives:

• Educate REI's about the education and certification of Chinese medicine practitioners.
• Describe the quality control and safety of herbs administered.
• Explain the theory behind herbal remedies prescribed for infertility.
