ART Best Clinical Practices

Activity Title

ART Best Clinical Practices on a Day-to-Day Basis

Identified Gap

Practitioners may lack current knowledge and skills in the use of emerging technologies and or/management styles in reproductive medicine and evolving treatment options applicable to successful patient outcomes.

 Description

This session focuses on the day-to-day running of an IVF lab. This is your opportunity to chat with two renowned experts who run their own successful labs. Bring your questions, comments, and great ideas on the simple steps in day-to-day operations that create improved outcomes for patients and lab staff as well.

 Expected Learning Outcomes

Upon the completion of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Apply the best approaches for managing time, people, and resources in an ART lab
  • Identify the specific steps that make a lab operate smoothly and successfully for all concerned
  • Recognize that labs are individual organisms having their own unique rhythm and personality which dictate the protocols and systems necessary for successful operation

Due to the popularity of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival scheduled for April 12 – 21, 2013, rooms in the Indian Wells/Palm Springs area during this peak period can be very hard to find and rates available to general public may escalate significantly as the meeting date draws near. To relieve this situation, PCRS has arranged room blocks at special rates at two hotels. Once the room blocks are full, PCRS will not be able to assist you with hotel reservations. You must be registered to attend the PCRS Annual Meeting in order to reserve hotel rooms within the blocks at the special rates. Any guest registered within the blocks who is not registered for the meeting will be billed at the hotel's standard rates.

We recommend that you secure your room reservations immediately following your meeting registration. Note: our room blocks are currently full, however, occasional cancellations do happen.

Primary Hotel: Renaissance Esmeralda

PCRS Group Rate: $251 per night (single or double occupancy) plus taxes and fees.

Secondary Hotel: Hyatt Regency Indian Wells
