Infertility is a disease causing disability and impacts one in eight couples in the US. Only sixteen of the United States currently have laws requiring insurance cover fertility care in some capacity. There are many ways to improve access to fertility care including advocacy, education of public and providers, lowering costs of providing care and medications to name a few.
