Event Policies: PCRS 2022 Annual Meeting

March 23—27, 2022 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA

COVID-19

PCRS is actively monitoring the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States and California specifically. PCRS is following guidance from local California public health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding face maskssocial distancing, and large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

California Mask Protocol

MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED for everyone in indoor public places. Due to rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, California recommends everyone wear masks in indoor public places (such as grocery stores and movie theaters) regardless of vaccination status.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED for everyone who is not fully vaccinated in indoor public places. People who are not fully vaccinated must wear masks in all indoor public places (such as grocery stores and movie theaters) and should wear masks in outdoor crowded settings when a region is experiencing high covid transmission.

For further information, visit California Department of Public Health website.

At this time, our upcoming PCRS annual meeting will take place in-person as planned.

Attendees should also:

  • Socially distance when possible;
  • Stay home if sick or exposed to COVID-19; and
  • Consult with a healthcare provider about attending if you have underlying health conditions or a weakened immune system.

PCRS will continue to closely monitor news, local government, and the CDC for the most current guidance regarding gatherings. We are hopeful that we can meet safely in-person in Indian Wells, following the most up-to-date safety protocols. Social distancing, wearing masks indoors, asking participants to provide a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Card, or other safety measures (i.e. testing prior to arrival, rapid testing on-site) may be required for participation in the event. A negative test result will be accepted in lieu of proof of full vaccination (full vaccination means with a booster shot). More details will be sent to all registered attendees. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to be flexible while we work within the limitations set by our obligations and the current pandemic.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Should registration numbers not be robust enough to support a meaningful experience for all attendees, PCRS has the right to cancel the conference. For events that are canceled due to any other event that is beyond our control (Act of God, etc.) PCRS will refund all registration costs. PCRS will not be responsible for refunding other costs incurred by attendees connected to attending the 2022 Annual Conference.

COVID-19 Refunds: We understand that we are living in a world where large in-person events are being guided by local health authorities. In the event public health dictates that we are not able to gather in March 2022 and PCRS is forced to cancel the conference, we will refund registration fees (less a $75 administrative fee).
