The deadline to apply for a scholarship to PCRS 2019 was January 25, 2019, and has now passed. Thank you to all who applied.

PCRS 2020 scholarship applications will open in October 2019

To encourage the participation of medical professionals in training and medical professionals currently serving in the military in the PCRS Annual Meeting, Pacific Coast Reproductive Society established a scholarship fund, supported by our members and commercial sponsors. Eligible students include those enrolled in lab training programs, REI fellowships, medical students, residents, and nursing students. A limited number of scholarships are also available for non-management lab technicians, nurses, and genetic counselors.

MD Scholarship:

Open to all fellows in US REI programs, residents and medical students who have not attended PCRS on a scholarship previously. The scholarship includes airfare, registration fees, a transportation allowance and a sleeping room based on double occupancy.

Merit Scholarship:

Open to all PCRS scholarship winners from prior years who are the presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2018 meeting. A merit scholarship covers meeting registration fees and a sleeping room based on double occupancy.

REI Lab Scholarship:

Open to all non-management IVF laboratory professionals who are the presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2018 meeting. The scholarship includes airfare, registration fees, a transportation allowance and a sleeping room based on double occupancy.

Nurses and Genetic Counselors:

Open to all nurses and genetic counselors who have not attended a PCRS meeting in the past or who are the presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2019 meeting. The scholarship includes airfare, registration fees, a transportation allowance and a sleeping room based on double occupancy.

Scholarships may include airfare to and from the conference (based on coach airfares available at the time the scholarship is awarded), meeting registration fees, and an allowance of $170 for ground transportation (parking, cabs, etc.). The scholarship includes sleeping rooms based on double occupancy (a same-gender roommate will be selected by PCRS). PCRS reserves the right to assign scholarship winners to specific hotels at our discretion.
