NEW FOR 2027: X-CD Submission Platform
PCRS is excited to introduce X-CD, our new online submission platform for the 2027 Annual Meeting. X-CD provides a centralized, streamlined experience where you can submit your scholarship application in one convenient location.
The deadline to submit a scholarship application is 11:59 PM PT on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. No exceptions.
Are you a reproductive health professional in training, abstract author, or new to PCRS? You may qualify for a PCRS scholarship! 
Pacific Coast Reproductive Society established a scholarship fund, supported by members and commercial sponsors, to encourage the participation of medical professionals in training and those currently serving in the military in the PCRS Annual Meeting.
Scholarships Include
- Complimentary PCRS Annual Meeting Registration
- Two (2) Hotel room nights, based on double occupancy
- Airfare/travel (up to $1,000)
Funding is limited and full scholarships are not guaranteed. Fellows and Residents are expected to submit an abstract for consideration for a scholarship.
Scholarship Types & Eligibility Requirements
MD/DO Scholarship
Open to all fellows in US REI or reproductive urology programs, residents, and medical students who have not previously attended PCRS on a scholarship.

Merit Scholarship
Open to any PCRS scholarship winners from previous years who will be the presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2027 meeting and currently enrolled in a REI or Reproductive Urology fellowship.

REI Lab Scholarship
Open to all non-management IVF laboratory professionals who are the presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2027 meeting.

Allied Health Professionals
Open to all APPs, NPs, PAs, nurses, genetic counselors, mental health providers, and other allied health professionals taking care of fertility patients. It is encouraged to be a presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2027 meeting but is not required.

Q: What do I need to apply?
A: The following information will be required to complete your scholarship application:
- Full Name
- Email
- Phone
- Credentials
- Scholarship Category (see above)
- Personal statement of why you should receive (Limit: 500 characters)
- Institution/Company covers any costs?
- Where you are traveling from
- Letter of nomination (see next question below)
Q: What does my letter of nomination need to include?
A: You must attach a letter of nomination on official letterhead from your fellowship chair, department head, or faculty that includes the following statement:
“This nomination is made with the full understanding that the nominee shall attend the PCRS activity for which the scholarship has been awarded for March 17 – March 21, 2027 (Fellows are also required to attend Fellows activities on March 17, 2027). Failure by the institution to allow the nominee appropriate time for travel and attendance of the event will not only void the scholarship for this nominee but will jeopardize applications from others from this institution.”
Q: I do not know whether or not my abstract will be accepted for presentation at the 2027 Annual Meeting. Should I apply for a scholarship anyway?
A: Yes. PCRS scholarships are not awarded until all abstract assignments have been determined. You may submit your scholarship application in advance of those decisions being made.
Q: How much financial coverage will the scholarship be?
A: Scholarships airfare/travel expenses (up to $1,000), registration fees, and two (2) hotel room nights, based on double occupancy and one (1) room night based on single occupancy (based on request and availability). Funding is limited and full scholarships are not guaranteed. The amount of financial coverage depends on the number of accepted scholarship applicants.
Q: If I am applying for a scholarship, when should I register for the Annual Meeting?
A: Do not register until you have been notified about being awarded a scholarship. The PCRS office will provide a comp code to each recipient. If you must register before notification, do not pay for your registration. Request an invoice, and the comp code will be applied if you are awarded a scholarship.
