Session Description:

This presentation will review the "how" and "why" manuscripts get published in medical literature with particular attention to Fertility and Sterility. We will review the peer review process and how to interact with an Editor. The focus will be to optimize the presentation of a manuscript to enhance success for publication.

Session Objectives:

  1. Recognize the desired attributes of an original peer reviewed manuscript.
  2. Interpret advice on how best to present an original scientific manuscript.
  3. Recognize the pros and cons of peer review to maximize successful publication.
